Two Short Duos (2007)
for piano
These two small pieces are some of the earliest completed pieces of notated music I've made. Like many pieces from that
period, they rely on generous amounts of pedal. Both progressed from a melodic idea, but eventually became tiny explorations
of the idea of a duet: although both are written on two staves, and as two voices, the music could almost be performed as a
single voice on a single staff, and the relationship between voices is somewhat strained.
