My name is Jashiin. It kind of means "evil spirit" in Japanese, but I didn't know that when I chose it. I create things: music, photographs,
drawings, art books, fictional characters, and many other things. I started in 1998, when I was 14. For the first eight years of my career
I was only active on the demoscene and the ascii art scene, participating in artpacks, composing soundtracks for electronic magazines,
writing articles for paper magazines about tracker music and ascii art, and so on. In 2006, when I was 22, I started playing keyboards,
exploring classical music and traditional visual arts.

Aside from a few bits of advice received when I was just starting out, I am completely self-taught. My music has been performed by both
professional and amateur musicians in Russia, Western, and Eastern Europe, while my ascii artwork has gained considerable recognition
from experts. For several years I was a senior staff member at Mimic, the longest running ascii art group in the history of the scene.

I am currently based in Moscow, Russia. E-mail address for feedback, commissions, offers, etc.: jashiin at jashiin dot com.
